Really enjoyed the hot chocolate here, and I don’t even normally like hot chocolate. It came with a little cookie too.

Painted Ladies

Walked the Lands End trail and saw a different side of Golden Gate Bridge. It was an easy walk, other than the fact that it was getting increasingly dark because we got there so late.

We eventually made it to the end, with complete darkness hitting about five minutes after we saw houses in the distance. I still had to stop to get this photo on the way though. Strangely, no one protested. I guess all of us were too busy taking photos.

Union Square still had all its Christmas lights up, it was beautiful.

Last time we were in San Francisco was probably about 20 years ago…incredible how much time has passed (and how much you can forget in that time haha). We spent the last bit of our trip to North America eating lots and taking in all the sights. Most of it was great, but I have to say I was really surprised to find that San Francisco has a real homelessness problem that nobody seems to talk about (which I suppose is why I didn’t know). Also the fog was quite nice! It made the weather really cool and pleasant, which we all liked.
