These cookies were bigger than my face.

The typography nerd in me was wondering what font this was.

I was taking photos of the not so flat side of the Flatiron until I walked around it and discovered the other side was even flatter.

The nicest Halloween decorations I've ever seen in my life.

Wondered if the single pumpkin was actually someone's grocery shopping left on the steps by accident, or a lazy attempt at decorating.

It was nearly Halloween when Chris and I went to New York, so some of the homes were decorated with giant pumpkins.  I'd never seen pumpkins so big before.  We also visited the Mast Brothers' chocolate shop in Brooklyn, where we got a deliciously chewy (and also very large) chocolate chip cookie.  We actually wanted a chocolate beer instead, but their fridge broke down.
