Seoul, Part 1 — Heyling Chan

We wanted to visit Changdeokgung, but I had a brain fart. I had planned to go to the palace’s secret garden to see the nice leafy grounds. Luckily, Heytung found the flaw in my plan before we bought tickets – it was winter and all we could've seen were twigs.

This is ice cream, not soap! And these were fake, they weren’t just sitting on the counter miraculously not melting…I know because I secretly touched them haha.

Conrad Seoul

Homey food at Moomyung Sikdang (Jongno-gu branch), we really enjoyed it.

Gran Seoul where the restaurant was located had an interesting layout.

We liked the atmosphere of Tea Collective in Cheongdam-dong, but not the tea.

We had a relaxing few days in Seoul after our ski trip, and we spent most of it eating, drinking tea and exploring parts of the city we’d never been to before. I feel like each time we go back, there’s something new to be discovered because Seoul changes so frequently.
